@nutellaontoast Supruku is correct, and I would have done the same thing when the reserve started diving. Idea is some asymmetric the input is "locked" in by the linetwist, causing the turn/spin. Even with linetwist, yank hard enough on the correct toggle you might get the tail to deflect. Maybe enough to slow or stop the turn. In that case the linetwist wasn't the deadly part, it was the spinning/diving reserve. Stopping that was critical to survival, by kicking out or any means possible.
The main canopy is a Velocity 103, reserve an Optimum 126, container is a SkyHook equipped Javelin.
