@ajfisher26 its probably a graphics driver.. boot into safe mode using f8 or f10 or f11.. uninstall the driver it is using and reinstall a fresh driver for your chip

your getting the dell logo on the screen, i get nothing just a blank screen. It loads to windows as I can hear the windows login music but I can't see anything but a black screen. Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks

@lxlpoisonlxl I had the same problem too. It's probably because the inverter went out. You can buy a new one super cheap on Ebay for less than $10. You can also find videos on YouTube on how to install it.

i have windows 7 on my 1501 right now wisho02. but i upgraded my laptop though. from 1GB Ram to 2GB Ram. 60GB hard drive to a 160GB hard drive. and i put a dvd burner on it too
