  • i agree with what someone else in the comments said maybe if you watched them in order they do make sense.

  • Great review guy, solid editing work.

Honestly I thought it was so weird about how abrupt the change of setting was, but you have to consider a few things. Mad Max was pretty much violent car-porn exploitation only described as Post-Apocalyptica because thats what the Aussie Outback looks like to say, North America/Europe. Its entire success was an insane surprise, spawning more highly-polished sequels with the money to actually make an apocalyptic set.

  • Ok how about reviewing THE WARRIORS and the video game?

How about reviewing WALL-E, SILENT RUNNING, ALIEN, IDIOCRACY, ZARDOZ, THE TERMINATOR SERIES AND VIDEO GAMES?

  • I have seen Thunderdome now and it sucks!

  • LOL this is hilarious. You have it all backwards, Mad Max I and II were the best, III should never be spoken of again. You obviously missed a small piece of info that would have helped you with the "Setting Supposed to be Constant" thing. In the end scene where Max drives off to face the raiders, he crosses a sign that has a skull and crossbones on it, signifying that he was crossing into the wastelands. He goes into the Wastelands and never returns to the slightly civilized zone.

  • I saw the first one first so I was not as confused as you. I really like the first two of the trillogy but I haven´t seen Thuderdome yet.

  • You think the third one is good or 'Awesome' as North Americans describe everything, yet the first makes no sense. The first film was made for the sake of making a film not, shock-horror as the opeining chapter in a Hollywood trilogy. It's not a perfect picture, and a bit soppy in places, but Max is essentially a loving family man, which contrasts with the emotionless road warrior who rejects friendship, romance, and fatherhood whenever it is offered. Mad Max II is best;Thunderdome worst by far.

  • why do you complain about the pace of this movie?! it's been made in 1979, the year your parents were playing in the sand trying to figure out why not everyone has a penis.

  • You REALLY wanna see the new movie?

Uh , yeah its like without Mel XD

  • it was renamed 'The Road Warrior' to market the story better to American movie-goers, who, for the most part, weren't at all aware of the first movie.
