That is thermal infrared imaging.
Plain infrared catches the infrared light, but does not read thermal signatures. Those are completely different. This is simply a lense that can view infrared light, so, yes, this is infrared.

It looks like old 1940's ww2 footage maybe the cameras from then were similar to nowaday cams they just had no IR filter and weren't digital...
-
no in day but only the infrared part of the lighspectrum is recorded

This is not thermal imageing. This is a camera with a filter that only passes infrared light. Chlorophyl in the leafes reflects infrared better than other things. Because of that they seem to be white.

this was filmed at night?

how do you upload handy cam vids onto the omp it wont work for me plz send me a message telling me how

What did you do? Use a PIN-HOLE viewer because there is something in the way. I have used a pin hole apperatus experiment to help non-modified sony cams to see infrared in daylight....and if you do not increase magnification enough you will see blockage, just like this.
what video all showed was cars passing buy not much experiment lol

The experiment was all in testing a home-made IR filter over a length of time.
I'm fairly sure it did that.
