My pet turtle Lucy laying eggs in my backyard. She is a 23yo Red Eared Slider I had since she was the size of a quarter, now she is around 13" (length of shell)
@MrMacchiarolo make sure they have clean water and a spot for basking under a lamp. I feed my turtles pellets and shrimp (they go crazy for it) and the odd time some pieces of fruit or vegetable like small pieces of banana. I find it much easier to feed them in a separate container so they don't dirty the water up too much. And if you live in a colder climate make sure that the water is heated, my RES was actually biting my heater and smashed it so now I have heaters that have guards on them.
