From his highest point, he was in the air for 1.6 seconds!
Using d = ut + 1/2at² we can find the distance he fell
With figures from this video;
d=ut+1/2 x 9.8 x 1.6²
As his initial velocity (u) is 0 we can cancel out ut so,
d=0.5 x 9.8 x 2.56
Therefore the distance he fell = 12.544m !
Excluding air resistance he fell approximately 12.6m which is 41"
41" is just over the height of a 3 STOREY BUILDING!
He is lucky to be alive!
