  • is that cpu cooler better the the AMD cooler that come by de fault when you buy a new proccesor?

  • @Jakeyog Yes I believe it is much better. It has a solid copper base to make contact and the large fins and fan really help to move air.

  • i alredy have a big xclamp on the back of my board , and i cant get it off , can i use it for other coolers ?

  • @machielste1 Yes you can. The onlky difference may be that the bolts that come with some coolers may not be long enough to go through the clamp. If that is the case just take them to a hardware store and ask them for some longer ones.

  • @FUzzyBUnnyBOoties Thank you for the reply ^^

  • @PGTMan Well I look forward tot he next video on that mod then LOL :-)

  • @FUzzyBUnnyBOoties Well, quiet PSUs particularly. I've got some spares but they're noisy. I've got an FSP one in there now (thanks to a techy friend of mine!). Trouble is, I'm struggling to fit it because the bottom fan guard is catching on the lip of the case so looks like I've got some more mods to do now!

  • @PGTMan Not a bad idea to washer both sides. I had one cooler that I had to put 4 washers on each mount just to keep it away from any of the solder points on the board. Still a shame that the PSU got fried even if it was a cheap one. If you are like me PSU`s are in high demand in our house. :-(

  • @FUzzyBUnnyBOoties Well I had to put washers on both sides in the end - on the back of the mobo and on the front. It seems there is some circuitry on my mobo very close to the holes that the push-pins for the standard Intel cooler go though. The bracket was touching these. Still, all sorted now (thankfully my psu was only a cheapie!) and the cooler is niiiiiiice!

  • @PGTMan Oh no I am so sorry that had happened. It has been awhile since I installed it but if I recall I put some of them red paper like washers on the mounts and made sure they were not touching anything. It seems to me if I mounted it one way it would touch and it I spun it 90 degrees and mounted it that way it cleared everything on the board.
