Chris Bangle explains the thinking behind a new BMW concept vehicle that will be unveiled at the IAA - the BMW Concept X6. Merging the athletic aesthetics of a true sports car with the versatility of an SAV resulted in a new vehicle category that so far has not been realised. Although BMW is moving into new terrain, Chris Bangle´s statement "a good concept realizes itself in a short amount of time" suggests a series production car might be not too far away...

That was a complete waste of my time - watching a video about an upcoming vehicle (who's pictures are already available to the public), but that they didn't show. I would've been pissed if I flew out to interview this self-consumed, pompous cartoon artist and had not gotten to see the work - probably for the best anyway.

I got a 330 Ci dropped and tinted 2001. I would never buy any of the new BMWs. This guy who created this new model is a complete dumbass. Why would you make this car look like.. yah like a Pontiac Grand Prix lol?!??!?! The new 3 series 4 doors look like SHIT.
