@PockyBebop He was doing mime. :) And yeah, this pointt is his healthiest AND fittest and beautiful. :) Well besides Tin Machine when he's all ripped and tan.

What I really enjoy about this song is how it gets performed either really funky or really new wave depending on the show. Always enjoyed that kind of versatility with him.

Listen to how Bowie and his backup vocalist do the descending "Fame" parts without any FX on their voices. Today, they would just autotune that shit. This is back when musicians gave a shit!. AND had talent to back it all up!.

i knew this one would be great since he probably couldn't be getting -ahem- famous backstage before the show, not in Japan

2:51 "ill - re-ject - you FOIST!!!"

"Fame, What's your name, what's your name, what's your name, what's your name, what's your name".
Awesome, thanks!

This song somehow represents how many celebrities allow themselves to be corrupted by FAME.
"Fame, what you get is no tomorrow"
- Many celebrities overspend their money on luxury, cosmetic surgery, drugs, like there is no tomorrow. They end up being financially BROKE and file for BANKRUPTCY.

@PockyBebop Minus all the cocaine he was on.
This is one of my favorite live performances by Bowie. He's so theatrical in this one (especially from 1:34 to 1:36 with those hand movements) and he doesn't need the drugs to put on an outstanding performance. Not to mention that he's incredibly handsome in this one. Yay for being healthy! He looks great with blonde hair, too. Thanks for sharing this gem :).
