@jackslaughters... Hi. Sorry you don't like straight pool, but if you don't like it why would you watch it? Only an idiot would spend almost an hour watching something he thought was a waste of time. There are some of us that actually LIKE straight pool and watching high runs. When you are practicing high runs that is the way you break, and now some of the individual high-run competitions like DC use that first-break format too.

too bad he didnt break properly. Straight pool is played on first break from on a FULL RACK, not with a ball sitting out and having the cue ball break things apart.

lol, not when youre playing for a high run. You should go to Derby City straight pool event, they play a similar game throught the tournament. Earl Strickland was one of the guys who suggested this game.
