See http://www.thomsonlakes.co.uk/destinations/italy/malcesine/malcesine.html?cmp... for more information. Guarded since the 14th Century by the stone towers of a Scaligeri Castle, this enchanting town combines its ancient charms with a wealth of wonderfully scenic walking possibilities amidst olive groves and lush pine woods. Gathered round the quaint harbour are traditional pastel coloured houses and waterside cafés, which look out over the gently rocking boats and across to the resorts of Gardone and Limone. The cable car from the village takes you to the summit of Lake Garda's highest mountain, Monte Baldo, from where the stunning views will take your breath away.
i've been to garda, but i would like to visit this place. do you know how long does it take by boat to travel from garda to malcesine?
