  • hey...have you plugged it in? how's the pickup, etc?

  • yes, I recently ordered an Acoustic Ag-30amp. The guitar sounds really really good plugged in, one problem I've found though is that the pickup is pressure sensitive, so the larger strings have more volume, and the thinner strings have a lot less. When I watched reviews for this guitar, it said it came with a pickup that wasn't pressure sensitive, but mine came with one. My guitar might have been an older version though, so just make sure which ever one you're looking at has their new pickup.

  • Thanks man, helpful video...I'm torn between 2 choices right now, this one and the Takamine EG523SCB, I'm going to have to try them both before making my decision, just wondering if you've tried that Takamine to compare? I like the split bridge on the Tak.

  • Im pretty sure I've tried the Takamine out at guitar center, that was the original acoustic guitar that caught my eye when I started looking for acoustics. I think the washburn has a way better sound. The video I made was recorded with my laptop webcam so it doesnt do the guitar's tone justice, but trust me, it is really good. The two guitars look pretty similar, but I think they're tones are very different. Try them out tho if you can, we may like different guitar tones.

  • @newclearwaste Hey man, I just ordered this guitar and when the dealer got it, it had the 4-knob B-Band system WITHOUT the tuner instead of your model with the pre-amp system built in. When did you buy yours? I'm being told that your EQ type is only available in that model 2 generations ago...

  • @xploron my guitar was a factory B stock, meaning that the factory refurbished the guitar because there was a problem with it originally. So it definitely could be an older model, I honestly dont know
