I actually believe she loved it. That was why she began her career as a Hollywood actress in the first place. Many interviews of MM imply she loved the attention, she loved being a living legend. But what I agree on is that she always seemed happy and calm, not openly satisfied with the mobs.

Marilyn could be a role model because she accomplished tremendous things having started from dirt poor roots. You can admire her accomplishments without having to bring her personal transgressions into it.

I recognized that she always stays calm and quiet even when there is a huge crowd around her. And always polite! What a self-discipline! I admire that!
