Amazon recently announced a raft of new devices, including their first ever tablet - the Kindle Fire. There's also new touch-screen versions but alas, all these are only available in the US.

In the UK we're been treated to a new basic keyboard-less Kindle and it's come just in time for Christmas.

  • What about pictures/graphics? I'm thinking of buying it to get The Guardian (or wahtever)sent...£9.99 per month for The G. Much chaeper than The paper version in the long run

  • 'Now comes with Wi-Fi as standard' I thought the Kindle 3 did anyway?

  • @TheMarabouStork No. Because they don't have the same offers to go with it in the UK, eg, streaming films and series etc. Will take a long time before they do.

  • @TheMarabouStork If the original Kindle was, then Fire will too. Amazon would loose a lot of customers if they didn't.

  • will the Kindle Fire ever be released in the UK?
