Amazon recently announced a raft of new devices, including their first ever tablet - the Kindle Fire. There's also new touch-screen versions but alas, all these are only available in the US.
In the UK we're been treated to a new basic keyboard-less Kindle and it's come just in time for Christmas.

What about pictures/graphics? I'm thinking of buying it to get The Guardian (or wahtever)sent...£9.99 per month for The G. Much chaeper than The paper version in the long run

@TheMarabouStork No. Because they don't have the same offers to go with it in the UK, eg, streaming films and series etc. Will take a long time before they do.

@TheMarabouStork If the original Kindle was, then Fire will too. Amazon would loose a lot of customers if they didn't.
