Meet Travis Wood. He was injured in Afghanistan and over the past three years has had 79 surgeries to fix the injuries he sustained there. His wife and daughter were living with him in one room quarters provided by Walter Reed Army Medical Center. But the space was cramped and the Wood family was anxious to get back to a normal life. Thanks to the help of a non-profit based in Maryland, the Woods are getting that chance.
