You should turn up your shader clock and turn down your mem and core clocks for the 8600GT. It will increase the physX only performance dramatically.

i have an onboared 8600gt in the mobo... can i use that? i have a his 5850 aswell

this game sucks really mutch even if its dx11 and with physx card it looks amazing-i know have it... but its so dark an so many shit around it very blur which makes my eyes sore,really nerdy game.

yah... i'm not gonna do this to my brand new Crosshair III Formula hehe.
I guess i'll just put a cheap nvidia card on the other pci-e slot... than after a year if i feel need i do crossfire and make this modification to the mobo...

what drivers and patches are you running? also, the 1280x720 resolution, how do you get that?
Must I do anything to put a x16 card into a x1 slot?

you need to remove accurately back notch in pci-e x1 slot which prevents insertion of longer x4 / x8 / x16 expansion cards.
action is not recommended if your mb under warranty.

Do you mind telling me what drivers/physx combo you are using? as i am having problems making "Hybrid physx" work in this game.
