Ivins -- died Tuesday at a suburban Washington Hospital. He had worked for the past 18 years at the government's biodefense labs at Fort Detrick -- and according to the Los Angeles Times -- had been told about the impending prosecution.SOT: David Dishneau/AP Reporter Ivins brother - Tom - confirmed to the Associated Press that his brother did commit suicide, from apparently taking a massive dose of prescription Tylenol mixed with codeine.SOT: Steven Hatfill/fmr person of interest The government's investigation into the anthrax deaths first centered around Steven Hatfill. The F-B-I labeled him a person of interest. But just last month -- he was exonerated and paid nearly six million dollars to settle a lawsuit he had filed against the Justice Department. Besides the five deaths -- 17 other people were sickened, many of them postal workers. Some of the letters were sent to members of Congress and to members of the media in both New York and Florida. It wasn't until Robert Mueller took over the F-B-I in 2006 that Ivins apparently became a subject of the investigation. @BlitzAce322 Your nutty conspiracy theory holds no water and lacks common sense. Think about it. You propose some big, bad government operation was carried out to seduce a society into adopting martial law, yet the attacks stopped before this could happen. Your theory sucks and unfortunately any idiot can propagate stupidity. As for the murder/suicide, no one knows but I imagine the FBI would be more inclined to keep him alive to learn as much as possible to prevent future attacks...

Hmmm, i don't know about anyone else who has watched this, but it seems to me that this guy who allegedly "released" this anthrax was murdered. He may have been used by the FBI or another high level echelon agency as a scapegoat. I could be wrong but I am convinced his sucide was a murder, the agency who did this to him may have released the anthrax themsleves to cause another mass public panic which would have caused a declaration of Martial Law. This guy was used to hide the truth.

Let's see, there have been over 60 scientists killed now, 44 since 911, 45 with Bruce,over two dozen in the 80's, all of their deaths have been shrouded in odd circumstances.(aids 80's )
