2* Quest 6 - Slay the Giaprey
Requirement: Kill the 20 Giaprey
Time limit: 50 minutes
Monsters I Encountered:
Giaprey
Giadrome

Slaughter fest, nothing more. Giaprey love Areas 3 and 5-7 so jump around there. If your feeling frisky, take out the Giadrome and collect it's carves. Try to get as many craves as possible without taking as much damage as I did. Might be a good idea to bring some Potions and Whetstones of your own to this one.

This one got chopped badly, was at about 13 minutes so chopped the beginning, between the load times, and the ending scores.

  • which is better gunlance or greatsword?

  • @DaBestRoberts depends on the style of the player. GS is about landing big hits during charges and has the weapon on your back for most of the battle. GL is a modification on the Lance as it is more offensive with the Wyvern Fire and has longer range with it's blast charges.

  • Actually I am right about the giadrome leader. I think it spawns the giaprey so if you do kill the giadrome then that means no more giaprey for that quest. I am serious

  • @urrutiap no your not, i have grinded these quests for armors and I always go after the Drome first. They wouldn't put something that would screw a hunt over like that.

  • I had a problem with this mission quest. When I killed 17 giaprey and had about 3 left, the giadrome popped up so I had to take care of him. Killed the giadrome and then the stupid Blangos started infesting the snow mountain and I couldn't find the last 3 giaprey anywhere. So there might be a thing in the game where if you kill the leader then the remaining pack of raptor wyverns disappear which means you have to restart the quest all over

  • @urrutiap not fully true, you can clear a zone about 2-3 times before another monster takes over the zone or it remains cleared. Killing a Drome does not stop the spawning of it's prey. Just look in locations you wouldn't normally find the prey.
