There is no real magic.. But I like the following definition "Magic is the look on your audience's face as they realize something impossible happened"(Don't know where from I'm afraid) So for at least the one kid there was magic. And for the audience he vanished a chicken.

@tuzmor It was all about the audience being in on the secret and the boy not having a clue. It was magic for the boy because his shoe disappeared.

That was excellent, a very entertaining performance. I'd never encountered Lance before today, watching some other videos his close magic seems exceptional and this one shows brilliant stagemanship as well. Overall very impressive.
