Next Years National title team, The Florida Gators led by first year coach Urban Myer, were #5 coming into this game, and the Alabama Crimson Tide lead by Mike Shula, Alabama came in the game underdog, but they beat down on Florida, lead by classic draft bust QB Brodie Croyle, 31-3.

@SUPERFSUNOLE Of course, I respect I opinion, man.

@vidEvWill So you think he cheats? I'm asking because I really don't see how you can dislike him, one, if you think he's old school (which I admire) because all that matters is if you win, and two, I personally don't think he's a "lousy interviewer" because, in most cases, I agree with what he's saying about the negative energy and stupidity that the media conveys. Not a Bama fan, however, I have all the respect in the world for Saban. He's a winner.

@SUPERFSUNOLE Because his personality does not match what I look for in a head coach but results wise he's great. Saban is an old school coach in a new school world. He'd like it better in the 70's and 80's where you did not have the media trolling down your throat with every move you make. In part, he's just a lousy interviewer anytime he's with the media he just deflects everything.

@vidEvWill Why don't you care about Saban as a man?

As much as I didn't care for Mike Shula back then.... it was pretty awesome seeing Don Shula in Bama gear roaming the sidelines

Florida got an old fashioned Alabama ass whuppin' is what that was, still Mike shula still sucked as Bama's coach. Don't care much for Nick Sabin as a man but he's a hell of a football coach. Gators finally got ova the hump in 2006.
