Martha was the greatest companion the Doctor ever had. She was my Doctor in Series Three.

(I love all the other companions even from the old series but Martha is a seriously underrated companion. She was one of the best-if not the best- of all the companions.) Even David Tennant says in the confidentials, "He'd(the Doctor) be nowhere without Martha and she saved his life time and again."

Martha was the best Compaion of the new series. She got shit done and made the mad dictator powerless just by laughing!

@sloane16 Why are you being so mean? I'm not being rude or mean and I don't think I'm better than anyone just because I like Martha. Martha more than proved that she was a great companion for the Doctor, so I disagree. I wasn't being impolite to you, so why are you acting that way towards me? I love all the girls from RTD's era and they all were great for the Doctor. Martha helped him a lot and thanks to her he'll never take another companion for granted.

@10thDoctorLove I'm glad you agree. No, I didn't think Martha was zero either. The same with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. But everyone underestimated them and thought they were zeroes until Martha, Harry, Ron and Hermione proved everyone wrong about everything by the end.

@10thDoctorLove Oh, she is also like Harry because she proved everyone wrong about her and came to be the hero at the end of the story. That goes along with the zero to hero stuff. People were always putting Martha and Harry down telling them they weren't good enough and they proved everyone wrong in the end, but they didn't need to since Martha and Harry already learned to accept themselves for who they were.

@10thDoctorLove themselves for who they were. Except Harry had Ron and Hermione to thank for helping him do that. He'd be nowhere without those two. Martha did all of that on her own though. I think both stories were fantastic.

@10thDoctorLove much a rip off of Hermione. So I can't say I agree there. She's like Harry in many ways: the main one is their stories, going from zero to hero. Both Martha and Harry were always being put down by someone and told they couldn't do something and they both were always looking for peoples acceptance(I know I said that for Ron, but this is true for Harry, Ron and Hermione, and Harry's and Martha's story is most alike in this sense). Eventually Harry and Martha came to accept

@10thDoctorLove Actually, I think Hermione and Martha are the almost identical. I don't know if Martha is as smart as Hermione or not. Hermione got lost in her studies to escape reality before Ron and Harry came along and then she just continued with that life style. Martha got lost in her studies because her mother made her and I'm sure Martha wanted to escape reality too. I'm sure if Martha went to Hogwarts her and Hermione would be the same. Martha is smart, resourceful, she is pretty
