The prison squat exercise is great if your wanting to get a awesome quad workout. If you wear a weighted chest harness or place a straight bar across your back you will add extra resistance and difficulty to the exercise which is great if you want to expedite your results.

  • @conradmagee you can add other types of resistance for this exercise ie Resistance Band, Weighted Chest Vest or even holding a Weighted Plate to your chest. Believe me I have experienced the program 1st hand and it is no joke.

    Prison squats are good for fat burning and muscle toning but you really won't get much stronger unless you're adding weight. If you want to build muscle you should go to a gym and do weighted squats, 6-8 reps with as much weight as you can handle. As you get used to it add more weight and do more sets and incorporate a few other leg workouts in with it.

  • How many at a time? Seems like you would have to do a lot to build muscle.
