@MyCrazyMachine Actually you are missing a couple steps that tougher viruses require. First, you should always perform virus removal in Safe Mode and you need a file called rkill to kill any active virus related process. If you do not do these 2 things first you will not be able to remove about 30% of the viruses out there.

turn off pc and turn on and press f8 and choose safe mode when you loged and then search config (run as admin) then disable all the start-up programs(viruses) and save or something like that and restart pc and dowland microsft security essential it will kill viruses and if you have another pc burn windows defender offline tool on cd or pendrive . and run malwarebytes it will help repair pc apply to windows 7 and maybe to vista. always run full scan about one time in week and upate it beforeScan

hey guys i just look up a YOUTUBE video too show the result of which is the best free antivirus software between avg and Microsoft security essentials and did a a virus test scan to see which have show more results and the avg free showed more the mse
Ok the last thing I was doing was trying to download a shimeji, and the the "do you want this program tto make changes to your computer?" kept popping up, I closed it but it kept popping up over and over, so shut the computer down, turned it back on, went to my account and it did a virus scan and said it had like 30 infections and kept sending me a "virus protection" to pay to get rid of it, I turn the computer off again and it didnt turn on anymore

@Misakichan644 Follow the tutorial. if Malewarebytes didnt remove it, your virus may need advanced removal. I will post a tutorial for this in the future.
