This all-new Fusion builds momentum with styling that lures the eyes into thinking it's lithe and agile, not the family sedan that it really is. Get more 2013 Ford Fusion photos and news here: http://bit.ly/y771b5
the aston grill interpretation we see on the Ford is the original Aston's silhouette re-freshed for modern times, and this was done by, then Ford Employee, Ian McCallum( Jaguar's current design guy). He and Henrik Fisker worked on several Astons as well while he was away from Ford, but he was responsible for the sexy lines we came to know on the Vanquish (popularized by Bond), and DB9.
If they can manage to move away from boxy-bland (ie their current SUV's and their current Accord) towards something precise, looks well put together, balanced, like VW's lineup, then the new Accord concept will do fine! It already borrows a few body lines from the previous Audi A3 sedan concept that debut a year or two ago in Geneva, and it'll be a strong offering against the Fusion.
Looking at the current scene though, it seems the crown is for the Fusion, Optima, and Sonata
I have a feeling this vehicle is the going to dethrone the Toyota Camry as the # 1 selling sedan in North America after taking a look at the new 2012 Camry. It's already knocked the the Honda Accord out of the #2 position in 2011 even before the redesign and this is a NICE redesign. Unfortunately, Honda's new Accord for 2012 is bland and uninspiring. Though reliable, Honda & Acura designs have been letting me down for a several years now.
Wow - that's so good looking they could probably even sell it in Europe without changing it too much.

the ford badge bothers me, i think it would look a lot cleaner if ford had a symbol instead of just the name but it still looks great
