CANCUN is the place for everyone. The beaches are more beautiful than Hawaii and Miami. The people are great and friendly. Food is expensive, but remember your on vacation, splurge and don't complain. You deserve it!!!lol

My best vacations have always been in Mexico, I am so glad this occured. We have to preserve our beaches and natural resources. I am not Mexican but they are the best, hard working, welcoming, talented and beautiful. Viva Mexico!

Thats right! Cancun is more beautiful after the government fixed the beach!!! It is more turquoise colored than before!!!

@ojosmasverdes WOW you are so right! I go to Mexico in April with my 10 year old daughter and we going to Playa for her 11th birthday next month. Hope no hurricanes come. It's important to show your kids some culture.

@fixit00, taxes? where in Cancún? noo! maybe you mean the ticket airport taxes? you have to pay them to go everywhere by airplane! I live in Florida and I travel every 4 months to Cancún and I have never heard about that tax cost in Cancún. Anyway, with 3 children is difficult to travel by plane, air tickets costs and hotels etc...I can understand, but here is the real world nature, Disneyworld is just a plastic dream...

I was in The grand Oasis Cancun last year, it's amazing... the best beaches of the world are in cancun, tulum, uxmal, mayan riviera...

Regardless of what this video says, the beaches in Cancun are not restored. Yes, they have have added back a lot of beaches, but it is no where near what they once were.
And the locals have almost zero access to the beaches there. That annoys me so much.
How do citizens of a city not have full access to the city's natural resources?

Excellent video! I used to go to Cancun/Cozumel for several months a year. Now that I have 3 childen and the taxes are almost 100 usdollars per person, it is way too expensive. We can all go to Orlando for a fraction of the price. I love Cancun but won't be able to return until that tax is removed... doubt that will happen. Good luck with your beaches and no more hurricanes.

What taxes? Passport cost? is a US goverment idea no Meican and is delayed until 2008
