To Tell The Truth About SHILLS

Have you ever noticed negative comments posted and the poster will try to monopolize the page and distract people from the conversation? They are known as shills, infiltrators, or spies that are here on YouTube as part of a disinformation movement to try to discredit the honest poster and to sway people in their thinking. They are not here by accident. They are not legitimate concerned citizens. They are here for a reason.

If you suspect you see one of them, click on their name and go to their page. You will usually see they have zero or very few subscribers. They have unrelated videos selected which have nothing to do with the videos they are commenting on. Their pages are usually vague and give little clue about who they really are.

When I first experienced this, I just thought something was wrong with these people. I then began to see a pattern and the further I looked into it; I realized something IS wrong with these people.

There are many well documented cases of government funded disinformation operations in the past. It would be naive to believe this is not going on today.

The fact that people can so easily dismiss conspiracy evidence is part of the conspiracy. The hardest part is getting others to really understand this:

One of the goals behind propaganda is to create a stereotype associated with "conspiracy theory" so people will go into a kind of self-defense mode and be less likely to accept facts surrounding covert operations and other such events.

If the government is telling the truth behind the events of 9/11, why do they have to hire people to give out false information? Issues like 9/11 have lately attracted a lot of attention from people using tactics meant to deceive and/or distract. It is disturbing to learn this is being done, but can also make you dig deeper to unbury the truth.

Wisner was also able to restrict newspapers from reporting about certain events. For example, the CIA plots to overthrow the governments of Iran and Guatemala.

More people every day are noticing attempts to distract, deceive and confuse others. Many are seeing a pattern to this and realize their postings are not from well-meaning concerned citizens.

Many large corporations either maintain their own print and Internet reputation management gurus, or hire someone to do so. This IRM can cost millions, and there are a lot of people who are paid to post disinformation without having a real opinion of their own. It is a form of spam, but insidious, since these people don't have to identify themselves as paid IRM posters.

There are different types there are devils advocate types who just like to argue, there are nut cases and then you have the real disinfo agents. They use the same tactics over and over usually strawman and insulting people calling them nuts. Like you said if you go on their channels they have little info on here but they will spend quite a bit of time clogging up peoples pages with this kind of crap. When I see this happening I block them.

@PMnews1 I agree. I try to never reply directly to them. I see no reason to even let them know I am posting and I also block them. Entering into direct debate with disinfo means you lose, because that is one of the main points behind disinfo. The idea is to get your own information across and with the least amount of clutter.

@wilsonpwt Theres something Ive noticed in last few months, thats NEW & ODD?! Routinely back check subscribers & people on my friends lists. In last 2 months several accounts when you try to go to them, says NO SUCH USER ACCOUNT. Ive also started to see this with comments by people, like this person "user" is harassing me. When you go to user account, IT DOES NOT EXIST! There seems to be recent trend of what I can only call GHOST USERS that attack and harass people on youtube, but dont exist?!
