I've seen cheaper (older) models that did change language. The selection was very good and you could choose the display and spoken languages independently. HTH

There is a $50 off coupon floating around on the net. I used it today to get my Nuvi 200 + a free carrying case for $99.99 plus tax.

Bought mine today at Best Buy for $149.00-thats cheap for this unit.Better hurry, the salesman said they're phasing this model out.
