Held on Old Upper Thomson Road. It used to be THE motorsport event to watch in South East Asia during those times.

Thanks for the video, as an F1 fan, I never knew this was the old circuit back in the days. I sped thru it many times at night, no wonder the place is spooky with all the great history.

I am happy to say that I had witnessed a few SIngapore Grand Prix then. It helped that it was held near my old house. As a kid, my father would drive me and a few others to a kampung and sneaked in foc! I remembered the sarabat stall on a hilltop. (Tea Kiosk). It sells tea O and curry puffs. In the forested area along Old Upper Thomson Road, a duck rice stall was set up in the forest.(with plastic disposal spoon). I remembered Geoff Perry(No 10) and A Motohasi (No 22) on their bikes.

Meh... Now the government placed speed regulating strips and road humps all over Upper Thomson Road. The only way to properly race there now is to cut into the oncoming traffic (there's usually no traffic, just cyclists) and avoid the road humps. Still quite fun to drive there unless there's a slow poke MPV in front of you.
