  • ktla 5 was a real good station back then great programing!!!

  • That was L.A.'s 1st 24/7 station..and all with REAL programs, not infomercials.

  • I found this" As seen on KTLA" here on Youtube it has clips from movies that were ran back in the 70's and 80's.

  • Good old days TV oasis heaven. Old school TV showbiz civilization with no reality shows or infomercials. I miss it so much. Old is gold. And everything new sucks.

  • Channel 5's electronic graphics for 1981 were new, compared to 1980. Then in 1982, the station had a new logo!

  • @ujayboydog He did most of the voiceovers for KTVU in Oakland- the text on these promos looks like the same used by KRBK channel 31 in Sacramento when they first changed to those call letters.

  • yeah, I was up during those nights.... staying up late watching crappy movies.... I remember the later one better, though...
