I can't speak for other people, but I think he was talking about the actual fan base. There may actually only be 6,000 of them, but there is a loyal fan base there. You can't really go off the band wagon fans. I mean you could, but look at your own team. They make it to the finals and all of a sudden 10 million people in the greater LA area all of a sudden care about hockey. As for your for the rest of your sarcastic assessment spot on.

So when you said they've overcome more than any other team you were referring to a lack of attendance and a struggle to survive in an environment that doesn't want them? That's very impressive. I was at a Yotes home game almost a year ago and the place was DESOLATE. Yet when I watch the playoff games it's packed with bored Suns fans wearing t-shirts they got for free at the door. The fan base is anything but loyal.
