7/2/2010 - Gulf of Mexico / Pensacola, FL UPDATE! - Could this be the cover up conspiracy theory that some people are talking about? I am always a skeptic, but I take lots of theories into consideration when I see evidence for myself.

The sand is unusually yellow, you can tell where the sand isn't exposed to the waves and the sand is that grayish white by comparison.

I walked around a portion of the beach and examined some unusualy tracks from some kind of machinery that seems to be digging up sand and chopping up tarballs rather than picking them up!

I also dug some holes around the beach and found multiple layers of oil between every 4 to 5 inches of sand layers in places.

I've been quite busy with work and the Santa Rosa Roller Girls lately. I apologize to all my friends for lack of updates on this topic.

  • I love seeing people digging deeper than 6 inches. They should allow cleanup workers 24-inches or more.

  • @charlegamer Thats an old video, too. The oil is likely deeper now than it was then!

  • thanks for sharing the story

  • Thanks for the update; after visiting Pensacola recently, I've linked to your video through my Flickr picture here: flickr.com/photos/52193570@N04/5192763437/

Honestly if you live near the coast I just hope you move while you still can.

My prayers and faith in Jesus Christ is with every one down there.

  • @kobedarott You're absolutely correct here, it WILL kill LOTS of things. Its going to be a horrible catastrophe and all we can do is watch.

  • @kobedarott I knew what you meant, sorry if I wasn't clear. I don't think it will make house fires any worse. Its easier to light a stack of newspapers WITHOUT oil on them than with. The fact that it requires additional fuel to start an oil fire tells you that it doesn't ignite easily. When oil sticks to objects it leaves streaks like when you poop in the toilet. It looks just like it, and doesn't smell better. I have samples in a sealed container for experimentation. I will burn some for you.

Even if you could wash it off the houses, this toxic chemical (oil and dispersant)

is going to be all over the ground. It kills the wildlife, why wouldn't it kill humans?

I just don't understand why people would stay there knowing it could possibly kill them...

Of course its going to get worse, it took 70 days to reach shore and now it will just continue coming daily and the leaks (plural) have still not been plugged.

Millions of people COULD die from this.

    WAKE UP! PEOPLE
