Has anyone ever noticed the fact of how good dance, discofunk & soul piercing tunes are proved & vindicated as being timeless classics; not by anyone's academic skills to argue their case but by the fact that so many of these wonderful pieces of music are very rarely disliked. Here's a formula to try, select a classic tune similar to this one, say Vickie Sue Robinson, "turn the beat around" & look at the difference between likes/dislikes; comapre with modern music and the ratio is much higher!

I want to go back to the 70s! They were a blast!! The music alone was Amazing! Disco,top 40 and rock There will never be anything better than that era in music. I want to take my Classic AMC Gremlin out for a spin now!

I found this song finally again on Cirius radio on the 70s station with Danny Terrio hosting Disco friday or Saturday night last week. THanks for posting. Great disco song and memories.

@DISCOVEGASGUY i totally agree!!!!!
This track was really ahead of it's time. 1979 saw tons of dance records released but few were as clever and as infectious as this one. It #1 on Billboard's Dance/Disco chart and cemented Deniece's place as an artist to really watch for in the upcoming 1980's. It still sounds as fresh as when it was released 30 YEARS ago ! Wow. This is an example of how dance music and a great record are supposed to sound. Soulful, bright and joyful ! Snap your fingers baby ! I love me some Niecy !
