Actually, the commander cant hit u, only the fatter red guys can, ive waited in the radius of the blast and nothing happened.

Overall, it's better in most instances, such as weight and damage. Besides, not many people like doing Giant Lizardman to get that sword, due to the time and effort it takes, and low exp of the boss.
