We start off with a CSX hopper goods train east. Leading is a Dash8

CSX Dash8-40CW #7686

Next is a Loaded CSX Coal Drag heading north Through Thurmond station.

Later We see a CSX work train HO60-28 start up and leave Thurmond bound for god knows where.

A couple days later we venture down to prince station to see Amtrak cardinal 50 arrive and depart on its journey to New york Penn Station.

later that day, 850 feet above thurmond, a CSX Loaded Coal passes another CSX loaded coal.

We end our week in West Virgnia Chasing a RJ Corman Train Down the mountain from the RJ Corman road house to the next crossing.

  • That was so awesome! I have been to all those locations and that RJ Corman branch is really cool now that they extended it and started hauling coal out again. You should check out the tunnel some time also. You got lucky to catch all that different stuff.

  • @Railfan108 P42 #6 was in an accident with a tree (of all things) in West Virginia the day you recorded this. Since there has been no report of #6 since then, I assume it's out of commission for now due to the accident.
