Spring Loaded Mechanical Tail Costume

this is a concept I made out of K'nex. but it works amazingly well! I would like it to be a tad bit longer, but the base joints are at the max strain I can put on the peices before they snap appart... might figure out how to do reinforcments later.

This is actually a second draft of this design. I made one 3 years ago out of k'nex that kept pulling the mounts out for the rubber bands. I fixed that problem in this model. I've tried making a more durable version out of metal. turned out to be too heavy. then another one out of pvc, but there was too much to fabricate for it to funtion right... I tried a version made out of foam (those pool swim noodles?) and it was too flexible to hold its own weight well. So, its back to k'nex! this one works so well, I may just form a working usable model with them as the base. enjoy! I may deicde on making another video later to detail all the parts and peices. if there's much demand... I might make it soon. but for now, im gunna play around with this.
