don't wait go consult your vet, I'm giving my dog pills and he never got other seizure. I'm giving him phenobarbital twice a day. hope it help

My dog has epilepcy and he has seizures when he's tired. It is awful to watch him then he doesn't know where he is. he has one eye too.

My dog's got epilepsy. Her first seizure made us very worried, she would appear far away in her mind (like she wasn't noticing anything around her) and she went stiff and started drewl. We went to the vet and they couldn't say anything about epilepsy. A few months later she had it again, then again a few months after that. Her last seizure was awful, so we took her to a new vet and got it confirmed; she's got epilepsy. Pills keeps her healthy. Iif your dog ever get a seizure, please call the vet

My dog had the same attack last night 2 in a row... His meds wonthelp so the vet sait we need to higher the dosis.poor dog its breakin my heart. So right now im lookin if its really Epilepsy he has and looks like he does. Coz ur dog is sooo doin the same like mine.Hope ur dog is better :D

Don't give any salt ! Snack like potato chip or any snack with salt. That is cause seizures. If don't give my dog like potato chip snack and he wont seizures.. Believe me. Alice

I have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever who used to have seizures. Our vet put her on .75 mL of Potassium Bromide twice a day and they stopped. She is now 9 and her last seizure was in 2005.
