  • Try this with 718 Inconel

  • I'm not sure what the factory used for a software on this particular application. There ar lots of good CA/ CAM systems that are capable of handleing this application, such as :

    HYPERMILL

    POWERMILL

    MASTERCAM

    SIEMENS PLM ETC

  • what is the software (for nc code) used to this machining?

  • This is the proper process. The reason why there is so much movement is because they ar using bull nose end mill insted of ball end mill. By using bull nose the stepover is bigger and the cycle time is lower. Also the finish is better. the reason for the movement is because they are also leaning the tool edge for about 3 to 7 degrees at the radius. And trust me there is no better way to cut a blade. The reason for the slow speed is the type of the matterial.

  • To slowly and to much compensation movements of the axis. This can't be a proper process.

  • no its 5 axis because the milling head also rotates in 1 axis sry for my english i am german BTW nice german machine

  • 4 axis
