Holy shit. Was not expecting to hear this idiot say something remotely reasonable...ahh well, he's said plenty of other dumb fucking things that this hardly redeems the bastard.

Sorry, remember that this is the same guy that claimed the reasons why miracles only happen in Africa is not a result of poor documentation of the actual events, but because of science such as evolution. Now he's saying that it's vital to look at scientific evidence? If they ever decide to rewrite the morals in the Bible, they better make hypocrisy a virtue.

Go read your dusty Bibles at the very first verse, people. It says at Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning" (An UNSPECIFIED length of time) "The Elohim created the heavens and the Earth". The later scriptures in Genesis tells how the Earth, obviously a dead planet, was transformed into a living one, with plant life, animals, and people. This man Robertson is an ignorant fool! He doesn't even know what he's talking about. And he calls himself a preacher?

That's funny since the bible mentions dinosaurs like Behemoth

Question: Doesn’t 2 Peter 3:8 indicate that the days of creation might not be literal, but thousands of years long?

    Answer: 2 Peter 3:8–9 reads:

‘But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.’

What "any old book" are you talking about? Show me 1 fucking book that from the 1800's that people think is full of fact or even less so about scientific fact.'

Please give me one fucking example.

On the other hand the bible has been rewritten hundreds of times by people who lived in power over people who couldnt read.

Give me a fucking break. Pathetic.

Man being made from dirt, woman being made from ribs, talking snakes, the Red Sea being split in two, talking burning bush, Jesus coming back from the dead, Jesus walking on water, Jesus turning water into wine, etc.

    Yup! Bible is totally scientific.

P.S - We do read the "bilbe" and I got to say it was a miracle that I was able to go through such an awful piece of literature.

Every once in a while Pat Robertson remotely coherent. It's amazing when it happens

I agree. Jesus returning from the dead, the talking snake and Jonah living inside a fish is totally backed up by science.

    Or not.
