Tim Tebow's promise and pledge become true, as the Florida Gators became National Champions. They defeated The Oklahoma Sooners record-setting offense in the BCS National Championship game at Dolphins Stadium in Miami on Janurary 8th, 2009, final score 24-14. It was a great game, props to the Sooners and Sam Bradford, they had a great game. Tim Tebow had his signature "jump pass" to score the final touchdown of the game, but it was the defense that held the Sooners that was the X-factor of the game. Tim Tebow fueled this team with passion and determination, and now after their win, this speech is even now a more amazing moment in sports.
Even if the Gators would have lost, Florida and The Gator Nation would still be proud of this team, they played with so much heart. Tim Tebow is an amazing player and inspirational figure.
Go Gators in good times and in bad times, and ALL Florida teams for that matter!!!

i said some, not all, guys like martin luther king, rosa parks, kobe bryant, lebron, etc. doesn't talk ghetto, goto a open basketball court or football field and see they talk
Yeah not much needs to be said for his education. Hes an academic all american and has like 3.7 or 3.8 GPA. He also finished up school and had to be enrolled in a course to play fball his senior year. So that is impressive within itself. Hes very intelligent amd an even better player on the field. So i guess u can make fun of his speech an education? Sure makes alot of sense...
@UFNation1 > > People are just plain ignorant, when they don't have a clue about what they are talking about. What's funny is they are so ignorant, all you can do is laugh ... Tebow is the Best ... Go Gators ... Roll Tide ...
wait lemme get this straight... the team loses the game to fuckin miss... he says a speach and the fuckin put it on a plaque? really?... not only did he do worse this season ( you know, not winning the hiesman, no NC and getting injured) but he cried on natinal TV... they deserved to lose to bama.
I've heard this guy talk a lot, and he does not sound like someone that has a high school education, much less going to college. He reminds me of Forrest Gump actually. I'm willing to bet that he doesn't even have to take a test. His teachers will give him a passing grade just because everyone worships him so much and nobody wants to be the teacher that fails Tim Tebow.
@mabood1212 I'd like to hear a speech you would give after experiencing the disappointment the Florida Gators did after losing that game to Ole Miss. Tebow, as a leader on the team, took full responsibility for the loss and had to deal with all the media expectations thrust upon him. I think you can forgive a few errors because of the emotions he was feeling at the time.
