How to remove the engine cover that's exclusive to the Titanium model on the 2012 Ford Focus. Forgot to mention it has 160hp and 146lb/ft of torque

  • My neighbors 2012 SE Sport just seized a Cam-Shaft. Snapped the timing chain doing so. Spent three weeks getting a brand new long-block. I want to say its just a one in a million type thing but i dont know....

  • @NotARealUTubeAccount starting to hope that happens to my car....

  • the Duratec engine isnt the old type of engine used at the previous model? in Greece Ford doesnt offer this engine...

  • @tasoscorsair The name is the same but most of the engine is brand new. This is a North-American market engine, not available anywhere else that I'm aware of.

  • focusfanatics website, many members who have recently gotten Titanium's report no longer receiving engine covers as opposed to the first few people who did get engine covers.

  • @kris1991 huh, well that sucks...thanks for the reply!

  • The cover on my 2011 explorer is similar in looks but its a thick piece of molded foam made for engine noise suppression.

  • do you still have to use a key to open the hud up

  • @mercmilan06 It is a really nice looking car! Good quality materials for the class and all. But the Service was terrible. The original rad leaked cause they damaged it, the second they damaged it, and the third they got right. The Car wouldnt run for more than 20 Minutes cause the battery was unhooked for more than 10 days, causing the computer to forget all the codes. The Red candy Metallic on Black with the silver outlined rims does make the car look very sharp.

  • This cover is really more for sound suppression than for looks. Glad my Titanium has one. I like quiet.
