Yeeaaa. Almost 4 minutes of you watching me update my Xbox half a month early!

First thoughts:

Well, it's not as monumental as the update this time a year ago, but it's something.

Twitter is your basic app, nothing really special. You can post tweets, look at the most recent tweets from your followers, nothing real special. Although I am glad for Twitter on the Xbox, you're gonna have to resort to using a USB keyboard or the chatpad (Like everyone else has said), since, as we all know, typing out messages with a controller isn't the best.

Facebook is... well, I don't even really use Facebook all that much, but it's still a pretty good app. You can look at your friends, look at photos, find which of your friends are on Xbox Live, post status updates, most of the basic stuff that you can do with Facebook. Although I don't know why people even stated this, since this isn't the website, where you can play games, but you can't do that, on account that IT WOULD MAKE NO SENSE. Even if it did, going on an Xbox to play "Flash" games would be a bit... uh... Well, ya know. Stupid.

Zune Marketplace isn't much different from the previous marketplace, It just looks a bit better. Not much to really say about it, if you've used the video marketplace on the previous (current?) dashboard version, then you should be fine, since there really hasn't been much change, other than aesthetics.

For some reason, I can't get to Last.fm, probably on account that I'm in Canada. First Netflix, then Last.fm. Thanks Microsoft.

Most of the other stuff like music games getting their own place on the dashboard really isn't worth mentioning (even though I am), mostly because it's the exact same store from the previous dashboard.

Halo Waypoint isn't out yet, so =\

Final Thoughts: Well, it's certainly doesn't bring the "excitement" of the NXE launch, since this update is focused more around social networking. I like the Twitter implementation, mostly because I use Twitter a lot. Facebook isn't bad, it could be better (A bit of sluggishness navigation-wise). Video Marketplace was basically renamed, and made it's own application. And I can't access Last.fm. But meh. I'll take it. Not that I don't like it, I do, but I wish that Microsoft could have put in something more.

If you're wondering, Twitter is H2OSorixas.
