This is just my experience!
Please do your own research (there are a lot of reviews on makeupalley.com, or search pubmed.com for scientific articles on Retin-A if you´re interested), and listen to your dermatologist´s advice!
And please go and subscribe to dermtv.com here on youtube. Dr. Schultz´s videos are very informative and he gets straight to the point! I´m a huge fan.
"Start low, go slow" is the way to go. Start with the 0.025% and don´t be discouraged by the initial side effects because they will go away! If the flaking and redness is really bad, you can mix it 1:1 with a gentle moisturizer, or only apply it 1-3 times week, then slowly (over the course of several weeks, depending on how sensitive your skin is) work your way up to nightly application.
*yikes, I hate this video but don´t want to redo it. Sorry if I don´t seem very focused, I´m not used to filming myself. And please don´t count the times I look to the side or up to ceiling haha*

I've been on tretinoin cream for about two months now and I am still going thru that period where my acne is flourishing... I am 33 years old and I did notice that my skin was looking younger and I did not know that it was the cream! I hope that my acne starts clearing up because I had never had acne and it's depressing to have it at this stage of my life when people are through and done with it!

hi =] i've recently started using retina and i was wondering if i was supposed to put the skin moisturizer before or after i put retina on?? pls and thank you :D
kat21831 2 months ago
@kat21831 I think you could do either, but I'm not 100% sure. Or, you could mix Retin-A with moisturizer in your hands and apply it to your face. It can be a bit of trial & error for some people, I'm sure you will find a method that works for you.
