  • What mouthpiece did he use?

  • @Tehc00lnerd The mouthpiece is not what made him great pal.

  • @MusicalProgrammer I agree. He played on a plastic saxophone and still sounded amazing.. That's pure talent. The mouthpiece didn't matter.

  • @Tehc00lnerd Knowing Parker, probably just whatever he managed to get his hands on... I don't think it mattered to him.

  • Red Rodney!! One of the best opening trumpet lines ever--reminiscent of my fave of all times, Kenny Dorham (who also teamed with Bird). Bird Lives!

  • @mqblues A blues is a form, like a sonata, a poem. Not "the" blues. This is a blues: you can take it apart and put it together again, and it's as musical as any sonata ever written.

  • @SlapPopStacy Somebody who really loves jazz & Charlie Parker, but hates advertisements

  • i have to say, i like a lot of songs but this is without a doubt my favorite jazz tune ever.

  • @Tehc00lnerd

    Probably a Brilhart.
