@Lightridergm if you think... But its a mellotron flute sample. Maybe played by his wife, as you wish. Compare the real flute with the mellotron one. At that time, and in this album, they used mellotron in the sysyphus track and even in this one.

that whole post-syd-pre-dark side period was kind of weird, wasn't it? it's often ignored, which is a shame,because they made some great music in that time
