Look, $15 is damn cheap for a game nowadays, when most new games are in the realm of $30-$60 a pop.

And yeah, it is a lot of cash in some parts, but the general assumption when you're discussing the price of a luxury item like a video game is that you're talking about countries where purchasing one isn't going to break the bank for the average buyer. That's not really a valid argument here.

Well, that's a rather shitty thing to advocate. Just because you hurt a publisher, doesn't mean you don't hurt the developer! Those devs spend hundreds and hundreds of hours on a game that many put their heart and soul into. It's not only taking away money that would have gone to pay these people's rent, but it's like spitting at their face and saying "you don't deserve this cash because you weren't financially stable enough to self-publish". You're a twat if you still think that.
