In this short, witness Iraq Veterans Against War staging Operation First Casualty, in which they re-enact what the streets of occupied Iraq are like to the Iraqis. They do it by bringing the reality home to the street's of San Francisco on Black Friday, November 28th, the busiest shopping day of the year.

  • I loved how scared the foreigners were when they saw the smoke bombs go off and I also loved how the media swarmed to the "poor captive Iraqis" like ticks to a cow. Hostages aren't allowed to be interviewed, so this entire demonstration was ruined. Also, awesome job they did on scaring people into believing it was real.

  • Wow, I have tried to understand somewhat what you vets have gone through. Right now im going through therecruiting process for the army airbourne. Even though you do make your statements and demonstrations which do mean alot. I still feel i have to do what i can for my soon to be brothers that are still over there. My heart goes out to you vets

  • the people that were captured, did they know bout the plan?
