Didn't they play this when Mary's mother (Katherine of Aragon) was banished? it's so sad...but it's so fitting that they play the same music for the struggles of both mother and daughter
-
Would somebody please tell me the name of the music that's used in this scene?
-
@TheNuharoo I do not know. Maybe he would be a bit mad at Mary but dissaponted by Kitty
-
I wonder how Henry might have reacted if he had heard about this.
-
Maybe she just stopped caring and was too tired to put up a deferential front to someone as obviously stupid as Katherine.
-
i feel bad for mary but she's too prideful at times, she had to know she risked trouble by pissing of the queen, i think she thought she was untouchable...i also liked chapuys, he was always there for her.

@justinandbritneyJLA Indeed. Chapuys is definentley one of my more favorite characters along with Mary Tudor, Catherine of Aragon, Catherine Parr, Elizabeth Tudor, and Anne of Cleves. Seriously, Eustace was more of father towards Mary than Henry!!
-
Eustace Chapuys was a truly good and true friend and a honorable man, i admire him, these kind of men and friends are very hard to find and perhaps we think that thse kind of people doesn`t exist anymore because it`s more common to find people who will betray you and take advantage of you...

@mitsuchan325 I must be insane, I love those dresses, I like to make them.

Honestly, Chapuys is the father Mary should have had. Someone who loved her and still thought her a princess no matter what anyone said about Henry's marriage to her mother being "illegitimate". I was so sad when he died!
@beautifulliar5263 I don't think she is a spoiled brat. I think she is simply frustrated. Out of everyone at court biologically she is the most royal. Her mother's heritage outranks Henry VIII 10x over. Not only does she have to bend her head and deal with her father's actions, but now this little girl is queen a position four women before have shared (including her mother) and exhibits none of the qualities of a royal woman. And she has to bow to her.

Actually, Mary and Elizabeth share an epitaph. "“Partners both in throne and grave,
here rests we two sisters,
Elizabeth and Mary,
in hope of one Resurrection” " Learn your facts before you dispute the relationship between Mary and Elizabeth. Mary hated Anne Boleyn, but cared for her half-sister, despite the fact that she had usurped her position at a time.
