Definitely the most sobering time on my whole trip to Japan. It was here on August 6th 1945 at 8:15, that an first atomic bomb was used on other humans. 140,000 lives were lost in the bombing and thousands more due to the radiation of the blast. I came across the Sadako Sasaki monument for all the children that died in the blast. Children come and offer cranes to the monument. They were singing this song when I got there and it touched my heart.

  • @Jaydas88 Whoops. I didn't mean to thumbs down your comment. I meant to thumbs up it. >_<

  • Does anyone know the name of the song?? I am trying to find it

  • @MrSilvialim i highly doubt any of those kids had anything to do with Nanjing.

  • @MrSilvialim too many countries have done truly evil things to others in the name of whatever or for some cause. Point is that this city has decided the ends does not always justify the means. Peaceful resolution is key!

  • vvery very touching :'(

  • @SmashCOBamberg
