Tangled was 3D. None of their 2D work (what Disney is known for and expected to excel at) has been brilliant in a long time.

Brilliant? No. Their 2D projects have ranged from shit to pretty good in recent years. Never hit "brilliant" again. For my part, I think they either need to keep going with 2D until they reach brilliance again, or stick with the "2D disguised as 3D" approach from Tangled. That film just looks amazing, and actually is brilliant.
