TranceCrafter - Break Free (Original Mix)

This is the final version of my new track, "Break Free." I spent about 4 weeks on it.

I made all of the presets myself, all of the melodies using sylenth1 and FL Studio 9.6.

May I ask how long it took you to create this in hours??? Like, how many hours did this take you???

@joeseta about 90 hours total, probably a bit more but I'm looking at an old version of the file. the final version (which has more hours) is located on a hard drive I don't have access to at the moment.

May I ask you how you created the HP effect on the percussion in the intro and outro? I'm trying to create that effect, but I can't get the right sound.

@lukaflapp yeah all I did was put on a fruity paremetric eq then automated it so it cut out the lows at first but slowly let in the rest of the frequencies as the song progressed. also, I used a compressor on the drums to make it more punchy sounding :)

What do you think of fl 9.6? I like it but its very glitchy on my computer so I still use 9.1 for my main production.

I agree it is does have a lot of bugs in it at the moment. but I love the speed that it performs at compared to 9.5. not to mention - now I have a free, working alternative to autotune now that they've included it in the 9.6 release :)
